WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT OPEN?

Comic Con Yorkshire opens at the same time over the course of the weekend this time is as follows:

Saturday Entry: 9.00am

Saturday Closing: 6.00pm

Sunday Entry: 9.00am

Sunday Closing: 6.00pm

 

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING? 

We offer free parking at Comic Con Yorkshire, within walking distance from the venue. Priority parking is available for blue badge holders.

 

When you arrive, please follow the signs for Comic Con Yorkshire for the best car park.

 

Parking Stewards will be on hand to help direct you.

DO YOU HAVE A CASH MACHINE?

There is no ATM at the Yorkshire Event Centre and we strongly advise that you make sure you bring cash with you.

​

We do however, have card terminals at each guest's table as well as in the photo areas where you can purchase photo ops, autographs, selfies, and COA certificates.  

​

Finally, it is worth noting that the vast majority of traders accept cards as well as cash, but always check with the trader before purchasing an item.

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

Wi-Fi is available in the exhibition halls.

DOES THE VENUE OFFER DISABLED ACCESS?

The Yorkshire Event Centre endeavours to make the venue as fully accessible as possible for all visitors. The venue has been designed as a level access venue with no corridors, gangways or internal stairs. They offer entrance ramps and double doors to both halls and automatic doors in the main entrance.

 

All entrance steps and ramps are supported by handrails.

 

Both of our on-site cafes are located on the ground floor, therefore are easily accessible.

WHAT FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

There will be a number of food and drink vendors at the event.

DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION NEARBY?

From luxury hotels to simple rooms to please, you’ll find a huge variety right on the doorstep in nearby Harrogate.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED FIRST AID?

There are always trained first aid staff available at Comic Con Yorkshire during opening hours. If you require medical attention, just ask the nearest member of staff for immediate assistance.

 

DO YOU HAVE BABY CHANGING FACILITIES?

There are baby changing and feeding facilities throughout the venue, making your visit with a young family easy.

 

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?

Yorkshire Event Centre is a smoke free venue; smoking is not allowed throughout the venue, this includes vapes and electronic cigarettes.

It is possible to smoke outside; a dedicated smoking area is located outside at the front of the venue.
